The challenge
Before AuditSoft, CSNS relied on paper-based audit methods and fillable PDFs for its COR program. Auditors had no streamlined way to organize notes, track progress, or complete and submit an audit digitally.
That created several problems: information was missed on site, compiling reports was manual and slow, members were hard to engage during audits, and audit data was hard to capture and analyze, which made it harder to track trends.
The solution
CSNS made AuditSoft the standard for all its external COR audits. The platform guides auditors through documentation reviews, site observations and interviews, with built-in tools for recording findings and compiling results.
Automated scoring, section guidance and prompts reduce manual work and errors. Built-in quality checks flag incomplete fields and inconsistencies before submission. Advisors can share and explain results on site, so there are fewer surprises at the end.
Results
Audit turnaround is faster because data is entered and reported in real time. Audit quality and consistency have improved, with less risk of missing critical information.
Members receive easy-to-understand scorecards that show their scores and findings and help them track improvement year over year.
Using AuditSoft on a tablet really enhances the experience. I can make notes in real time, double check things with the member, and review sections together on-site—so there are no surprises later.
