Good to know

Is it free?
Yes, with no deposit. A card is held only as a guarantee, in case an item isn't returned within 30 days.
How long can I keep it?
Up to 30 days for each item, with reminders before anything is overdue. Borrow as many as you like.
Do I wash it first?
A rinse is great, but no worries if not. Return points send everything for professional cleaning.
Is it safe?
In Toronto, partner cafés are assessed by public health and wash to Ontario Food Premises regulations.
What's the cup?
A double-walled stainless steel body with a lid, for a hot latte or an iced tea. It suits commercial dishwashers and is recyclable at end of life.

About

Reuse is not a new idea.

Milkmen, dabbawalas, tingkat, the plates in your kitchen: we've been reusing for decades. Our lifestyles just made throwing it all away too easy.

Muuse started in 2018 with a group of food-loving surfers in Bali, tired of finding that morning's takeaway packaging in the waves. Recycling wasn't the answer, so the system had to change. From that came Muuse: the future of Multiple Use.

We've been dreamers and doers ever since, working with businesses, municipalities and forward-thinkers to make reuse so simple it becomes the norm.

In honour of our founder, Brian Francis Reilly, 1980–2021.
