Our happy place

Bud's Coffee is a coffeeshop in the heart of the Toronto Beaches. We are independent and locally owned, and we pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere. Our goal is to bring our customers the best coffee and pastries every single day.

Good people, good coffee

Our origins

When I met Ken in 2011 it was obvious he had a true love of coffee and what it should taste like. Working in cafés for over 10 years and a 4th place award in the regional Barista Competition, he had his own dream of opening a coffee bar and naming it after his grandfather, “Bud”.

In 2014 it all seemed to fall into place and Bud's Coffee was born in the Beaches of Toronto. Ken brought the coffee element and I brought the community. The space had to have a place for kids and really be an extension of our home, family and friends. Our staff are our family and our customers are our friends.
